The role of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (MBS) Coordinator is to assist and work directly with the centers MBS director and serve as the liaison between the center and MBSAQIP.
The coordinator manages accreditation criteria to ensure the center always is meeting the standards and expectations set forth by the governing agencies.
This role also serves as a lead for the triennial MBSAQIP site surveys.
0-2 years required. 3-5 years preferred.
High School Diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred.
RHIA RHIT LPN/LVN RD Dietician Tech or other health care professional licensure/registration.
