Automotive Technician Responsibilities (Subaru Technician / Auto Mechanic)
- Perform diagnostics repairs and maintenance on Subaru vehicles (engine transmission electrical brakes suspension)
- Conduct thoroughmulti-point inspectionsand document findings with notes photos and/or video
- Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Completecustomer-pay warranty and internal repair ordersefficiently and correctly
- Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly with service advisors
- FollowSubaru manufacturer standardsand dealership repair procedures
- Road test vehicles to confirm concerns and verify completed repairs
- Maintain a clean organized and safety-compliant work area
- Collaborate with otherautomotive technicians and service team membersto maximize shop productivity
- Participate in ongoingautomotive training and Subaru certification programs
Automotive Technician Requirements (Auto Tech / Diagnostic Technician)
- 2 years of experience as anautomotive technician auto mechanic or service technician
- Experience withdiagnostics electrical systems and drivability concernspreferred
- Subaru experience orSubaru certificationis a plus (not required)
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work in afast-paced high-volume service department
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen DeVoe is a drug free workplace
- Must haveown toolsrequired to perform technician duties
- Strong attention to detail and commitment toquality repairs done right the first time
- Team-oriented mindset with a professional attitude and strong work ethic
