Responsible for manual assembly functions in. Tasks to be performed include hand assembly operations on prototype and production printed circuit boards and machine change overs. Must be able to properly document operations as performed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for following the Quality Management System
Responsible for performing assembly operations in accordance with training and customer requirements.
Responsible for properly interpreting customer supplied documentation and drawings or seeking help in their interpretation.
Responsible for inspecting mechanical components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specific requirements using a microscope.
Responsible for cleaning parts and assemblies at various stages of production using cleaning devices and equipment.
Responsible for completing and maintaining records of production and defects.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor/management
Duties include but not limited to:
o Coil Inductor Fabrication quality inspection measurement and sorting
o Transformer component testing measurement sorting and data analysis
o Preparation of BGA component utilizing solder paste and spheres
o Component tinning utilizing solder pot
o Board and component masking per schematic or product sample prior to conformal coating process
o Prepping for machine change overs
o Hand load components to PCB
o Disassemble chassis in preparation for troubleshoot or debug process
o Replace labels and clean debris from CRM assemblies
o Application of various compounds and adhesives
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of component identification and polarity
Ability to read/interpret customer schematic diagrams and requirements
Ability to perform repetitive work
Must have good attention to detail
Must have basic mechanical assembly skills
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Work independently with little or no supervision
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Ability to comprehend and follow verbal/written instructions
Ability to safely operate various equipment including microscope
Ability to lift/carry a short distance at least 35 pounds
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of AS9100
Special Requirements:
Minimum 5 years hands mechanical experience in a related field
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screen.
Must be able to work a 4/10 Schedule Monday Thursday
