The Investor Relations Communications Specialist is responsible for crafting clear accurate and compelling written materials that support the companys communication with investors analysts and other financial stakeholders. This role partners closely with Investor Relations Finance and Executive Leadership to translate complex financial and strategic information into polished scripts and narratives for earnings calls investor days conference presentations and other external communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit scripts for quarterly earnings calls including prepared remarks and Q&A support materials.
- Create visual representations of financial and business data to enhance investor understanding.
- Partner with Investor Relations Finance and Legal teams to ensure accuracy consistency and compliance in all investor communications.
- Develop executive level talking points briefing documents and narrative frameworks for investor conferences roadshows and investor days.
- Translate financial results guidance and long-term strategy into clear concise and investor appropriate messaging.
- Incorporate feedback from senior leaders and iterate quickly under tight deadlines particularly around earnings cycles.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the companys business model financial performance competitive landscape and investor messaging priorities.
- Support ad hoc investor communications as needed including FAQs messaging documents and executive prep materials.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degreerequiredfrom an accredited not-for-profit in-person college/university.
- 5 years of professional writing experience in executive-facing external communications investor relations financial communications or related environment.
- Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial and strategic information into clear engaging narratives.
- Experience working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with earnings cycles SEC-regulated communications and public company disclosure considerations.
- A track recordof commitment to prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred bachelors degree in communications journalism English finance business.
- Comfort partnering with C-suite executives and influencing through written communication.
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly learn new industries or business models.
- Experience supporting a public company earnings cycle and/or collaborating on regulated external communications.
- Familiarity partnering with Finance/FP&A and Legal/Compliance stakeholders on messaging that involves financial performance KPIs and forward-looking statements.
