Are you interested in solving complex strategic and economic problems Would you like to contribute to thought leadership developmentand do you thrive in an ambitious setting Then take this opportunity to do an internship at the Chief Economist Office of PwC. We are happy to welcome you in our team from the end of June 2026 for a period of three to six months.

What does your work look like

The research of the Chief Economist Office contributes internally to a better understanding of the subjects that are high on the agenda of our clients and relations. By publishing our research reports on our website and other channels we also want to share our knowledge with society and contribute to the public debate onimportant issues.

You will work for a diverse range of (business) experts deal withvarious topics and have inspiring colleagues. We will give you research tasks and you will report on outcomes either in written form orally or both. You will have your own responsibilities and carry them out independently. An internship supervisor will coach you throughout the duration of your internship and support you in your development.

Who are you

• You are planning to follow or you are following an economics-related master at a leadinguniversity*;

• You have good academic results and experience with statistics and dataanalysis;

• You have a strong interest in economic problems and are motivated to apply economic theory to practicalissues;

• You show flexibility in terms of the methods you apply and the topics you want to workon;

• You are an effective communicator and find it easy to work inteams;

• Youare able towrite and speak English fluently and a highproficiencyin the Dutch languageisanadvantage;

• You are available on a full-time basis between 3 and 6 months. We will decide upon the duration of your internship in consultation withyou;

• You live in the Netherlandsand are available to work in the Amsterdam office at least two days a week.

* To be eligible for the internship you must be enrolled at a universityduring the internship.
