Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager Strategic Supplier Mgmt. locatedin New BrunswickNew Jersey Raynham Massachusetts or West Chester Pennsylvania.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Senior Manager Strategic Supplier Managementis responsible forglobal thirdparty supplier strategy governance and performance managementacross the DPS Global Real Estate (GRE) portfolio. This role ensures that external real estate and facilities service providers arecommercially optimized operationally aligned and strategicallyleveragedto support DPS businessobjectives portfolio transformation and cost discipline.A key responsibilityofthe role will be in defining the future supplier strategy for the shortmediumand long term to create a nimble and proactive approach to supplier management.

Reporting to theSenior Director Global Real Estate this role serves as thesingle global owner for supplier governance partnering closely withDePuy Synthes Global Real Estate Facility Management and Corporate Operations teamto drive consistency accountability and value realization from the global supplier ecosystem.

Scope of Role

  • Global portfolio:187 properties across manufacturing R&D office and support sites

  • Supplier coverage:Real estateand FacilityManagementservice providers (e.g. transaction management project delivery facilities/property services advisory workplace and specialty vendors)

  • Geographic reach:Global (Americas EMEA APAC)

  • Authority:Global standards governance performance frameworks and escalation; regional execution via matrixed partnership

Key Responsibilities

Global Supplier Strategy & Governance

  • Define and own theglobal strategic supplier management frameworkfor DPS GlobalFacility Management andReal Estate including governance models performance standards and operating cadence.

  • Establishclear roles responsibilities and decision rightsbetween global supplier governance and regional execution teams.

  • Lead supplier alignment to DPS real estate strategy portfolio priorities and separationrelated requirements.

  • Drive collaboration and innovation with strategic suppliers to improve cost quality service and resilience.

ThirdParty Relationship Management

  • Serve as theprimary global relationship ownerfor strategicFM and REsuppliers ensuring alignment at executive regional and operational levels.

  • Drive structuredQBRs performance reviews and escalation protocols ensuring issues are surfaced early and resolved decisively.

  • Partner with Procurement to support supplierselection contract strategy renewals and commercial negotiations (as applicable).

Performance Management & Value Realization

  • Oversee supplier performance management including scorecards business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Define and tracksupplier KPIs SLAs and outcomebased performance measures tied to cost quality speed risk and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure suppliers consistently deliver againstbestinclass benchmarks contractual commitments and DPS standards.

  • Identify and drivecontinuous improvement opportunities including productivity gains cost optimization and service quality enhancements.

  • Monitor supplier market trends and performance data to inform sourcing and supplier strategies.

Standardization & Operational Enablement

  • Enable globalprocess standardizationacross supplierdelivered services while allowing for regional regulatory and operational variation.

  • Partner with RE Governance & Strategy to embed supplierdelivered activities into standardized RE processes data models and reporting.

  • Ensure supplier management activities comply with company policies quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure supplier compliance with DPS policies controls and data requirements.

Risk Management & Business Continuity

  • Partner withcross-functionalstakeholders to identify supplier risks and implement mitigation plans.

  • Proactivelyidentifysupplierrelated risks(operational financial regulatory capacity geopolitical).

  • Support business continuity planning and supplier readiness for critical sites and services.

  • Act as a senior escalation point for supplierdriven risksimpactingsafety compliance or business operations.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to:

  • Global andRegional REleadership

  • Global and Regional FM leadership

  • Property Services leadership

  • Finance Legal Risk and Procurement partners

  • Partners closely with Procurement Operations Quality and Finance.

  • Balance enterprise standardization with regional needs to enable effective execution without friction.

  • Experience in the delivery of benchmark strategy and transparency through robust project management commercialplanningand proactive supplier relationship management for a global organization.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122000.00 - $212750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year

Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
