Job Description:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At minimum 1-3 years of previous mechanical maintenance experience
  • At minimum 1-3 years of experience working with calipers bore gauges and micrometers
  • 1 year of data entry work experience
  • High school diploma or an equivalent A&P license preferred but not required

Role and Responsibilities

  • Examine and evaluate landing gear components to locate any damage
  • Read and interpret technical data and blueprints
  • Follow instructions per the component maintenance manuals (CMM)
  • Utilize specified tools and materials such as various measuring equipment including manual and digital measuring equipment
  • Some grinding of parts
  • Use of a computer or other electronic device to record data and work performed
  • Maintain an organized workspace
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in the English language; writing reading and speaking
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Microsoft Office Suite at a beginning to intermediate skill level
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Basic arithmetic
  • Coordination
  • Critical thinking
  • Manual dexterity
  • Arm-hand steadiness
  • Near vision
  • Flexibility to work any shift including evenings and weekends as necessary to meet deadlines
  • This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations
  • Must Successfully complete a comprehensive background check

  • Compliance with safety and health protocols including the use of personal protective equipment as required.
