About the team
As a Service Operations Technician youll be an integral part of our team responsible for implementing changes updates and enhancements for our application within our SaaS-based environment. The role involves ensuring a seamless and efficient deployment process to maintain system integrity and improve overall user experience.
What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and schedule the deployment of software changes updates and new features in the SaaS environment.
- Implement and adhere to change management processes to minimize disruption to services during deployments.
- Execute deployment plans and ensuring accurate implementation of changes while maintaining system stability.
- Conduct pre-deployment testing and validation to ensure the functionality performance changes before release.
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues or conflicts that may arise during or after deployments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes configurations and version control for future reference.
- Identify areas for improvement in deployment procedures tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Must be open to support during North America Shifr to drive customer support and success.
What we are looking for
- Ideally 1-4 years of progressive experience in change management software deployment upgrades or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Base operating system
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Ideally has experience in a global SaaS based organization.
- Ideally has supported mission critical software.
- Completion of a specialized DiplomaDegree in Computer TechnicianScience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information
- This role requires occasional work during non-standard hours and weekends to accommodate deployment schedules and maintenance windows.
- The position may involve on-call responsibilities during critical deployment phases or urgent issue resolution.
