Who youll report to

Youll report directly to the General Manager and work closely with Fleet Managers technical teams and docking/project specialists.

What youll be doing

This is a hands-on high-impact role where youll take full technical ownership of a fleet of 35 VLGC vessels.

• Lead the technical management and performance of your assigned vessels

• Ensure safe compliant and cost-efficient operations at all times

• Oversee maintenance repairs and docking projects

• Work closely with shipboard teams supporting and guiding them when needed

• Manage budgets procurement approvals and technical decisions

• Drive incident prevention investigation and continuous improvement

• Build strong relationships with owners class and key stakeholders

What were looking for

• Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on VLGC vessels or shore-based experience as a Vessel Manager handling VLGCs

• Strong understanding of maritime regulations and compliance (ISM ISO etc.)

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A collaborative and solutions-oriented approach

• Familiarity with systems like BASSnet is an advantage
