Job Title: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)

Shifts: Days & Nights Available / Rotating Weekends
Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to adult patients in a fast-paced high-acuity environment. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population including medical surgical cardiac and neurological cases within a Level I Trauma setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments in accordance with established protocols
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Deliver direct patient care while supervising support staff
- Monitor patient conditions and assist in clinical decision-making
- Provide patient and family education tailored to age culture and medical condition
- Offer emotional support and ensure patient-centered care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Specialty Areas: Neurology Orthopedics Nephrology
- Unit Size: 49 beds
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1
- Patient Acuity: Higher-than-average Med-Surg (stable trauma patients minimal drips)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience (recent experience not required)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- BLS certification required upon hire
