Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications and Development Administrative Assistant to support our agencys communications fundraising and outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing coordinating projects managing information and helping an organization tell its story. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Communications and Development teams to ensure smooth operations timely project execution and consistent messaging across platforms.
What You Will Be Doing to Support the Communications and Development Team...
Digital Communications
Maintain and update calendar software across all BSCS websites to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Manage the BSCS Notices Info email and referral accounts.
Support staff with translation and interpreter software registration needs.
Print Communications
Coordinate business card updates ordering and printing.
Facilitate brochure updates in collaboration with program and department staff; manage printing inventory and stock.
Donor Relations & Development Support
Maintain the donor management system ensuring accurate and up-to-date donor records.
Prepare and send donor tax receipts and thank-you letters in a timely manner.
Support Bridge Fund resource allocation and tracking.
Communications & Development Department Support
Work closely with the Director of Communications and Development on grant and development-related processes and tasks including meeting support and distribution of minutes.
Provide general administrative and project support for communications and development initiatives.
Assist with and attend BSCS-related events as needed providing on-site support and coordination.
Support efforts to strengthen and improve internal communications across the organization.
Facilitate the distribution of staff recognition gifts.

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience in an administrative communications development or nonprofit support role is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with donor management systems email platforms and basic website or calendar management tools is a plus.
Exceptional customer services skills including professionalism while working as a part of team.
Strong initiative organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program.
