Director of Slots

The Director of Slotsis responsible forthe long range and daily direction planning and operations of the Slot Department and the Sportsbook Department to ensureoptimalperformance levels and to achieve companygoals in full accordance with all Company Operational Policies and Procedures and Gaming regulations.

• Use strategies to engage employees foster a positive work environment gather and resolve employee issues andretaintop performers.
• Maintainongoing communication with employees to share information listen to feedbackand rolemodel Caesarsstandards.
• Enthusiastically supports actively promotes anddemonstratessuperior customer servicein accordance withdepartment and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
• Ensures department and assigned staffoperatein compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures gaming regulations and external agencyrequirements.
• Assistwith reviews operating budgets for both departments and is actively involved in long-term planning and achievement of companywide goalsin regard togaming revenue and operational expenses including Slots and Sportsbook personnel staffing requirements.
• Assistand helpsestablishandadministersprocedurespertaining tothe proper coordination of all operatingactivities relating to all Slots and Sportsbook with special emphasis on the security of company funds.
• Uses knowledge of games to evaluate andmonitorenvironmentgamesand layouts.
• Responsible to ensure that the Casino floor isoptimizedwith the best games anddenominations toensuremaximum profitability for the Horseshoe Indianapolis.
• Management of staff scheduling to ensure company service standards are met.
• Provide instructiontrainingand implementation of service and other company programs to staff.
• Research and resolve guest and / or employee issues effectively and professionally.
• Manage organize and complete assigned projects with attention to detail within theestablished deadline.
• Protect the confidentiality of company files and documents under immediate control.
• Management of human resource responsibilitiesto include training issuing discipline andensure the proper documentation of all actions taken for assigned staff members.
• Will manage risk factors within the company department or division employed in such a way as toeliminatecompany exposure to insurance claims and legal/court challenges.
• Ensures that all company department ordivisionactivities and operations are carried out in compliance with local state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations. This includes but is not limited to adherence to Human Resource safety and workers compensation policies and procedures.

• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel Word) and have knowledge of Slot and Sportsbook operatingsystem.

• Obtainoptimumefficiency cleanliness economy ofoperationsand maximum profitability by performing duties personally or through subordinate managers/supervisors

• Ability to effectively communicate in English in both oral and written forms.

• Ability to lead & mentor a team.

• Ability towritereports business correspondence and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond.

• Ability to work with confidential datarequired.

• Ability totroubleshoot challenges quickly and resolve them.

• Ability to complete projects and goals by deadlines.

• Bachelors Degree and (5) years of related gaming experience at least five (5) of which are specific to Slot orElectronic Gaming operations and at least three (3) years as a supervisor or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Two (2) years of Class III Gaming experience preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

• Must have the ability to apply commonsenseunderstanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

• Mustoperateeffectively in a deadline-oriented and multi-taskenvironment.

• Excellentproblem-solvingskills.

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals ofplaneandsolid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Mustpossessexcellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Mustpossessexcellent time management skillsalong with the ability to forecast the time management needs of others.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Horseshoe Indianapolis is asmokingestablishmentthereforemust be able to work in a smoking environment.

• Must be able to work in a highlypopulatedfast-paced and noisy environment.

• Sensitive Key Access. This position has access tothe sensitiveareas within theSlotOperations.

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry employees maybe requiredtoworkvarying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
