Position: Support Specialist III
Location: Seattle WA 98121
Duration: 7 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Pay range: $30.00 - $35.00/hourly
Job Description:
- Deliver on-site high quality hands-on support diagnosing troubleshooting and resolving issues successfully evaluating log files to determine the health of systems software and hardware.
- Assist with activities to triage and escalate system or network outages to reduce downtime.
- Understand and execute change management activities in a high availability environment.
- Participate with partner teams and vendors on continuous improvement projects defining requirements and managing execution to deliver operational excellence and value.
- Effectively manage and oversee IT asset inventories.
- Participate in hiring efforts training and developing peers and new team members as a mentor seeking and leveraging diverse perspectives in all activities.
- Continuously expand skills learning the latest technologies and maintaining knowledge of IT policies to provide technically accurate solutions.
- Occasional travel required based on the needs of the business.
- Participate in 247 oncall duty required for isolated highseverity incidents serving as escalation point outside regular hours.
OT Weekend or Holiday schedule:
- This position is evening support.
- Typically Monday to Thursday from 6pm to 3am or till the work completion that evening.
- Occasional other days or hours needed and need to be reasonably flexible
- Evening shift could vary week by week start and end dates. 80% of the time M- F shift.
- Potential for 3 hours of overtime per week
Task Breakdown and Workflow:
- Get assignment every evening which floor/ building get stationed and assisting low voltage cable vendors helping to install wireless access points.
- If have issues report to FTE will troubleshoot and if they cannot will escalate to a blue badge.
- At the end of the installation will walk to the floor and perform tests on the access points and report back to blue badge
Internal Team interactions:
- Will be coordinating with team members and working with other teams/vendors
Work environment:
- Working on 3 buildings and multiple floors
Basic Qualifications:
- 1 year of Windows Server technologies AD DFS Print Services SCCM experience
- 2 years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high-availability environment experience
- 2 years of PC repair troubleshooting deployment and liquidation experience
- 1 year of IT client server and network service delivery experience
- 2 years of networking such as DNS DHCP SSL OSI Model and TCP/IP
- 2 years of corporate setting Windows Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- 2 years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience High school or equivalent diploma.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of computer networking experience.
Nice to haves:
- Deploying a network environment lifecycle management of a network
Disqualifies:
- PC repair software management/ building
Performance Indicators:
- Deployment schedule being met how they contributed to it
