Opportunity
PsyPhyCare a division of Business Staffing of America Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site speech therapy services within a federally supported school-based program in Crownpoint New Mexico.
This role supports a community-focused educational environment serving students with diverse needs. The position plays a key role in helping students develop communication skills essential for academic success and daily life.
Position Overview
- Location: Crownpoint NM (On-site)
- Setting: School-based (K12)
- Schedule: MondayFriday
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
- Contract Length: 12 months (with option to extend)
- Start Date: August 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech/language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings multidisciplinary team discussions and parent conferences
- Collaborate with teachers staff and families to support student progress
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and program guidelines
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (preferred in school-based or pediatric settings)
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs and special education services
- Ability to work independently in a structured environment
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance
- Must be able to work on-site (no remote option)
- Current immunizations and health clearance as required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in school-based settings
- Experience supporting underserved or rural communities
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary care teams
