Job Description
Terrapin is looking for a Curing Specialist to join our growing company. As a Clinton County
Penn.-based cannabis company Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a
cultivator processor and retailer of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis products.
With over 15 years of industry experience Terrapin was licensed to operate in the Pennsylvania
marketplace in 2017 growing to more than 200 employees.
The Curing Specialist will work closely with the Cultivation Manager Harvest Manager and
Compliance Manager to oversee the curing and testing process to optimize flower quality. This
position reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cure room settings with Cannatrol
- Maintain cleanliness and operations of cure rooms
- Report on specific strain quality to suggest product pathways
- Maintain compliance using a centralized tracking system (MJF)
- Oversee harvested flower and bio testing
- Prep samples
- Work with testing lab on results and coordination
- Partner with production and sales teams to identify inventory needs.
- Prioritize and manage cure vaults based on harvest dates to ensure the flow of fresh
products while minimizing old inventory - Adapt processes to various strains styles and types of cannabis and make quality
control decisions and adjustments as necessary - Possess the ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the production
department as needed or requested by his/her direct supervisor - Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with operating a Cannatrol system highly recommended
- Experience in cannabis curing at a commercial level
- 3 years of cannabis growing experience
- Familiarity with MJ Freeway or other similar compliance tracking software
