Account Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist youll play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and accountability supporting our mission to serve 14000 clients annually and reach almost 70000 young people through prevention services. Tasks

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure continuous service delivery.
• Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing and maintaining related financial reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues ensuring smooth operational flow.
• Maintain and update vendor files and records ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills aligned with Cenikor Foundations values of accessibility and community.
