DESCRIPTION:
As an Inventory Coordinator I at Thermo Fisher Scientific youll contribute to global healthcare and scientific this role youll ensure accurate inventory management for critical materials that help our customers make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Youll perform essential inventory control functions including cycle counts stock reconciliation and inventory movements while maintaining compliance with quality standards and operating procedures. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records resolve discrepancies and ensure proper storage of materials ranging from pharmaceutical supplies to laboratory essentials. This position offers opportunities for growth and development while contributing to scientific discoveries and healthcare solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
High School Diploma OR GED

Experience:

No previous experience required
Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts pallet jacks and order pickers
Physical capability to lift up to 50-70 lbs and work in various temperature environments
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Ability to follow SOPs and GMP guidelines in a regulated environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate/resolve inventory discrepancies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule flexibility required
Valid drivers license required
Must be able to work in temperature-controlled environments (room temperature cold rooms and freezers)
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing bending reaching and handling materials
Basic math skills for counting and inventory reconciliation
Must not have allergies to specific pharmaceuticals (where applicable)
