Job Summary

What You Get To Do: 

The Scheduling Coordinator is a critical team member managing the overall scheduling coordination of designated home locations in a specified geographic area. This role creates weekly schedules verifies and reconciles time & attendance monitors & ensures staff training compliance and manages the call off/on-call process during business hours.

This role is specifically intended to provide direct support to the Washington supported living program. Supported living means instruction supports and services provided by service providers to clients living in homes that are owned rented or leased by the client or their legal representative

  • Creates the work schedule for assigned home locations ensuring direct support care aligns with client care needs and reimbursement parameters. Delivered to staff two weeks prior to scheduling time period.
  • Maintains up to date on-call notes ensuring all changes are reflected daily.
  • Responsible for staff training compliance to ensure that all designated staff have met the company and governing agency training requirements.
  • Tracks attendance and/or attendance issues to ensure attendance policy and progressive discipline process is followed. All changes or updated to be completed on a weekly basis.
  • Review and approve field staff time off requests per company guidelines.
  • Meet with new staff and deliver training schedule and introduce to management team. Introduce new staff via outlook and EHR.
  • Send tracking tools to the management team on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain a list of active employees for the purpose of verification and accuracy of home assignment/s.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications :

What Makes You a Great Fit: 

  • Previousexperience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilitiespreferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous scheduling experience preferred 
  • Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training
  • Have a passion to help others through person-centered care 
  • Dependable adaptable and flexible 
  • Be able to speak read and write the English language at a level of proficiency to satisfactorily carry out all of the essential job duties and functions included in this job description.
  • Ability to speak to groups of staff to articulate clearly and to demonstrate positive enthusiasm toward staff and individuals supported.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holidays as needed to meet the needs of supported individuals.
