Staff Accountant

The position of Staff Accountant will helpina variety of functions withinSharkNinja. This will include preparing journal entries summarizing results general ledger analysis and completing account reconciliations. This role willbe focusedoncostof goods sold inventoryaccounting andthe oversight of inventory-related operating expenses. This person willbe responsible formaintainingand developing strong accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP. This isa great opportunityto join a public fast-paced business. The position willprovidethe opportunity to learn how high growth business modelsoperate all while obtaining substantial guidance feedback and mentoring from a Finance team with private and public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries ensuring accuracy completeness andtimelyreconciliation of accountsin accordance withcompany policies and GAAP

• Proactively evaluate enhance and drive process improvement initiatives across accounting workflows to increase efficiency scalability and adherence to best practices

• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to investigate and resolve transactional discrepanciesin a timely manner

• Serve as a liaison between Finance and cross-functional teams ensuring clear communication and alignmentonfinancial matters

• Support internal and external audit processes including preparation of audit schedules documentation andtimelyresolution of audit inquiries

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

• Support andmaintainstrong internal control policies and procedures

• Support warehouse audits onsite across various locations in the U.S.

• Assistin inventory control procedures

• Provideaccounting support to other business units for special projects/ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary

Required experience:

• Bachelors degree in accountingrequired CPA preferred but notrequired

• 1 year of public or industry-specific accounting experience

• Strong communication(verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint

• Detail-oriented with proven analytical and organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive approach to problem solving

• High degree of business acumen and emotional intelligence

• Teamplayerwith ability toeffectively and efficiently workcross-functionally
