Temporary Research Assistant to be hired in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology
This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.
Essential Functions
- Carries out culturing of malaria parasites Generates recombinant plasmids for transfection Carries out transfection of malaria parasites Conducts phenotypic analyses of transfected parasites Assists in general laboratory maintenance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Microbiology.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.

- Typically standing walking

Additional Information
This is a Full-Time temporary position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
