Were seeking a Civil Project Engineer to be based in Somerset this role this individual will gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of projects- including mining sites power generation (wind solar and power plants) industrial/commercial/and residential developments and more. This civil engineer will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to mentorship and supporting long-term career growth.

Your Responsibilities as a Geotechnical Engineer:

• Perform detailed and conceptual civil engineering design including site layout grading stormwater management erosion and sediment control and utility planning.
• Prepare and review design plans technical specifications cost estimates calculations and reports.
• Assist the Project Manager with overall project coordination including scheduling budgeting and task assignments.
• Track project progress manage deliverables and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Support the development of proposals scope documents and client presentations.
• Assist in the permit application and approval process coordinating with local state and federal agencies.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings documenting action items and facilitating follow-up.
• Contribute to internal project management systems by maintaining accurate records budgets and progress reports.
• Actively pursue opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.

What were looking for:

• BS in Civil Engineering Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• EIT required PE preferred.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite Civil 3D and HydroCAD preferred. Experience with HEC/RAZ is beneficial.
• Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
