Position: Stage & Production Manager
As the Stage & Production Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of stage and production operations including but not limited to:
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop and implement innovative and engaging stage shows and events that appeal to a diverse audience
- Overseeing the technical aspects of productions including lighting sound and special effects
- Managing and coordinating a team of technicians performers and crew members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
- Conducting regular rehearsals and providing direction and feedback to performers and crew members
- Ensuring all productions meet safety standards and regulations
- Managing budgets and timelines for each production and finding ways to optimize resources and reduce costs
- Communicating with various departments on the ship to coordinate schedules and logistics for productions
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies and equipment as needed
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the quality of productions
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in stage and production management with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They should also possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelors degree in theater production or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of technical aspects of stage productions including lighting sound and special effects
- Proven experience managing and leading a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Experience working in the cruise industry is a plus but not required
