| Job Summary: |
Under the direction of the Program Support Administrator this position provides leadership and expertise in leading quality assurance activities across eligibility and benefits operations to ensure compliance with federal and state Medicaid requirements internal policies and established standard work. This position will oversee eligibility quality assurance staff in identifying and measuring program metrics and provide quality assurance oversight. The Quality Manager is responsible for translating complex findings into actionable insights for leadership sister agencies and internal staff.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and develop eligibility Quality Assurance staff and supervisors who are responsible for quality assurance reviews outcome analysis deficiency challenges quality clarifications updates to the quality assurance process and procedures results tools and supporting materials. Oversight of work assignment along with timeliness of the QA team.
Ensures that uniform interpretations and application of State and Federal laws agency policies and rules and regulations governing Medicaid and KidsCare and other related program activities are maintained. Monitor new rules and regulations to determine impact on QA operations and make plans of necessary changes to the quality review process.
Champion AMS and provide guidance insight and support. Provide innovative and solutions focused Process Improvement and Root Cause Analysis. Mentor QA staff to develop an operationally efficient and highly performing engaged workforce.
Participate in leadership meetings to include CORE Managers Program Support/Operations collaboration OECO Leadership and others as appropriate. Participate in DMPS and agency policy and systems development work groups and process improvement teams as appropriate.
Monitor trend analysis of review data and propose communications education and/or policy revisions.
Consult with both DMPS Program Support and DMPS Operations regarding program integrity growth opportunities.

| Selective Preference(s): |
Minimum: Three years of supervisory level experience and three years of professional experience performing eligibility work. Arizona Drivers License
Preferred: Five years of related experience related to health or eligibility programs appropriate to the assignment which included program planning or administration and three years of managerial experience; a college degree in a field appropriate to the assignment may substitute for some professional experience.
