Summary of Job:
Responsible for providing hands-on support for identifying and implementing process improvements variability reduction defect reduction process control throughput improvements and 6-Sigma initiatives. Collect key process data and support the execution of experiments at the direction of the plant process engineers. Analyze data sets to identify relationships/capabilities for line performance. Support the development of standard work documentation to include SOPs SOS Job Aids and Training Documentation. Supports problem-solving in manufacturing including root cause identification and resolution. Ensures safe work practices.
Must-have/Required skills:
Education: BS in mechanical electrical chemical industrial engineering strongly preferred
Minimum Experience: 2 years required 5 preferred in a manufacturing environment
Experienced WITH and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment providing hands-on technical support
Willingness to work shifts
Technical curiosity with the ability to learn quickly
Capable of multitasking
Must be a self-starter able to work in team environment
Strong data analysis interpretation visualization and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-have skills:
Skills and experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DoE) methods
Demonstrated technical expertise in process improvement
