Process Engineer to support the design optimization and operation of oil and gas processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize production and processing operations to maximize efficiency reliability and safety.
- Perform process simulations heat and material balances and equipment performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain process flow diagrams (PFDs) P&IDs and engineering calculations.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and identify root causes of operational issues.
- Support facility startups shutdowns debottlenecking and commissioning activities.
- Conduct process safety reviews HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on capital projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare technical reports operating procedures and engineering documentation.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve plant performance and reduce operating costs.
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-20 years of experience in oil and gas petrochemical refinery LNG or gas processing operations.
- Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Aspen Plus.
