Process Engineer to support the design optimization and operation of oil and gas processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize production and processing operations to maximize efficiency reliability and safety.
  • Perform process simulations heat and material balances and equipment performance evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams (PFDs) P&IDs and engineering calculations.
  • Troubleshoot process upsets and identify root causes of operational issues.
  • Support facility startups shutdowns debottlenecking and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct process safety reviews HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on capital projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports operating procedures and engineering documentation.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve plant performance and reduce operating costs.

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3-20 years of experience in oil and gas petrochemical refinery LNG or gas processing operations.
  • Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Aspen Plus.
