Are you a bold commercially driven leader who sees opportunity where others see obstacles Macsteel Cape Town is looking for a Senior Branch Manager who will own the Cape Town branch like an entrepreneur setting the vision igniting growth and leaving a lasting mark on South Africas steel industry.
This is not a role for the status quo. We want a leader who wakes up thinking about how to grow the business disrupt the ordinary and develop the people around them. If you have deep steel industry knowledge the drive of a dealmaker and the discipline of a seasoned operator we want to talk.
Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management Engineering Finance or a related field.
- 810 years of senior management experience in the steel or metals industry you know this space deeply.
- Proven track record of growing revenue opening new markets and delivering on P&L targets.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to read interpret and act on performance data.
- SAP proficiency advantageous; strong overall computer literacy is essential.
- Solid understanding of OHSA ISO standards and relevant South African legislation.
- Exceptional communication skills in English written and verbal; you articulate ideas with clarity and conviction.
- A growth mindset: someone who experiments learns fast and is never afraid to challenge the norm.
