CAD Designer

Introduction:

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Designer for Linear Assets High Voltage.

In this role you will be tasked with conducting studies on underground connections and high-voltage lines for electrical infrastructure projects (380 kV 220 kV 150 kV 70 kV 36 kV). This includes the construction expansion and/or modification of connections (cables or lines).

The job as an Expleo CAD Designer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design of underground connections and high-voltage lines for various projects. Designing in accordance with applicable standards and regulations including:
  • Preliminary designs and feasibility studies;
  • Plans required for permit applications with authorities;
  • Plans needed for on-site execution;
  • As built plans after completion of works;
  • Equipment plans;
  • Work scenario with different phases and necessary cuts.
• Conducts studies and provides all necessary documents and plans for the successful execution of the project.
• Collaborates with external agencies for certain projects ensuring follow-up and quality control.
• Ensures the quality and coherence of solutions with respect to other disciplines.
• Develops a personal study plan and reports to the team and project manager.
• Works in a project team in close collaboration with the project leader.

What are our key selection criteria for joining the Designer Team

• Bachelors degree or secondary education diploma in electricity or electromechanics.
• Strong sense of responsibility excellent organizational skills.
• Assertive communicator customer-oriented team player and possesses strong creativity.
• Proficiency in CAD Microstation Excel Word and Visio
• Excellent knowledge of both English and Dutch
