The Role

This is a hands-on underground position supporting Shaft Lining Operators on major shaft construction and rehabilitation projects. Youll assist with installing lining systems preparing formwork working with shotcrete and grouting and handling materials in a fast-paced environment all while contributing to the safety and stability of the shaft.

This role is ideal for someone looking to break into mining or build on existing underground experience. Youll be part of a tight-knit crew with strong safety standards and clear pathways to progress into Operator roles offering long-term FIFO work and career growth.

Key Details

• Roster: 14:14 or 14:7
• Employment Type: Fulltime permanent
• FIFO: Sydney or Brisbane
• Accommodation & meals: Provided on site
• Pay: Competitive rates paid fortnightly

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of shaft lining systems
• Support formwork shotcrete and grouting activities
• Handle materials tools and equipment in an underground environment
• Maintain clean organised and safe work areas
• Follow strict safety procedures and site standards at all times

Qualifications / Requirements

• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Previous underground or labouring experience highly regarded
• Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic encouraged to apply
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
