Our client is a leading international hoist manufacturing and distribution company based in Melbournes Western suburbs. They offer a complete range of car truck and motorcycle hoists manufactured from commercial-quality materials catering to both automotive enthusiasts and professional workshops across Australia
The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the installation service and maintenance of motor vehicle hoists while supporting technicians on-site.
Reporting directly to Service Management some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with installation maintenance and repairs of hoists and equipment
- Loading and unloading tools and materials
- Supporting technicians on job sites
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Basic assembly and use of hand and power tools
This role will commence as a Trade Assistant with the opportunity to progress into a qualified technician role within the business
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Physical fitness to perform a hands-on role
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- An unrestricted drivers licence
