Senior Manager Business Controls & Monitoring Mob Way Applicants must identify as Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander

Whats the role

This role sits within the Product Governance & Business Controls & Monitoring (BCM) Centre of Excellence and is part of Westpacs Mob Way program a culturally grounded pathway into senior leadership for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a Senior Manager youll design build and operate AI-enabled and automated solutions that uplift group wide Risk Practices improve insight quality and reduce reliance on manual processes.

Furthermore you will ensure solutions are explainable and auditable to meet AI risk standards acts as an escalation point for complex matters evolving risk standards/tooling and mentoring team members.

Through Mob Way youll be supported with strong executive connection opportunities to build your networks and dedicated time for community connection and elder-led cultural immersion.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Sydney with working options available.

What do I need

  • Experience applying analytics automation or AI-enabled approaches in complex environments
  • Ability to design or contribute to data analytics or technology solutions
  • Demonstrated experience developing Power Platform solutions that embed analytics into business-as-usual (BAU) workflows
  • Experience building dashboards tools workflows or analytical pipelines
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and explain complex topics clearly
