Job Summary
Under the general direction and guidance from the executive office the Corporate Development Manager acts as the crucial link between high-level strategy and execution influencing teams to deliver complex projects from start to finish on time and within budget. This role plays an important role in driving transformation and supporting change activities at MFCP; leading enterprise-wide strategic projects acquisition activities contract review and negotiation internal communications and other special initiatives. The role collaborates cross-functionally to drive success across the business including planning execution monitoring and projects transforming ideas and initiatives into tangible business results.
Primary Duties:
- Drive corporate initiatives from concept to delivery ensuring execution of business requirements training communications procedures workflow redesigns and implementation schedules.
- Develop and maintain the project portfolio ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
- Partners with the executive team to prioritize and operationalize projects based on strategic importance resource availability and risk assessment.
- Develop an organizational-wide internal communication plan including governance content development and oversight to increase connection and engagement.
- Develop internal marketing collateral.
- Manage the internal communication platform (SharePoint) and introduce a de-centralized governance structure.
- Support the development and execution of the change management activities for projects or initiatives.
- Operate as the project manager for organization-wide initiatives connected to the business strategy.
- Succinctly communicates project status risks and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Board of Directors executive leadership business leaders and external partners.
- Create materials needed to support executive leadership meetings.
- Anticipate risks to adoption and manage stakeholder resistance.
- Influence teams to ensure projects are accomplished on time and within budget without direct authority.
- Develop implement and maintain standardized project management methodologies frameworks and tools across company-wide initiatives.
- Support contract review and in some cases negotiation for agreements ranging from lease agreements to master service agreements to purchasing agreements.
- Integrate and manage the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Software for organization-wide use.
- Provide logistical coordination for insurance planning submittals and renewal activities.
- Support full lifecycle of acquisitions activities from due diligence to integration.
- Establish acquisition governance manage timelines and lead cross-functional stakeholders to meet deliverables.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis in business.
- 5 years of experience implementing organization-wide projects.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to share complex information with multiple audiences effectively.
- Experience with contract management and proficiency in interpreting legal contracts and agreements.
- Ability to partner with and leverage external council expertise.
- Strong execution skills with ability to work independently while pursuing organizational goals.
- Ability to lead motivate and influence stakeholders of all levels in the organization.
- Handles confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and maturity.
- Methodical and diligent with planning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Clear and professional communication via email phone and in-person instruction.
- Proficiency with Microsofts suite of office tools.
- Commitment to safety excellence and learner engagement.
Salary: $135k-155k annually depending on experience incentive.
