Credentialing Specialist (4294) CREDENTIALING CORPORATE OFFICE

SUMMARY:

The Credentialing Specialist under the supervision of the Credentialing Manager performs a variety of duties in support of the Credentialing department.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal training which will be indicated by a high school diploma and healthcare / medical staff credentialing experience preferred or college degree in health care administration or related area. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work independently be detail oriented meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of credentialing software a plus and must possess a valid Kentucky Drivers License.

PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:

Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; use basic office equipment and perform repetitive motions. Must have visual and auditory acuity and be able to drive an automobile.
