Job Summary
THE TRAINEESHIP PROGRAM
Our traineeship program generally completed over a 12-month period is an education pathway open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples that combines formal learning with on-the-job training to provide relevant and valuable industry skills alongside a qualification.
There are 3parts to the traineeship program:
- Work Experience
You will be akey member of our Kinetic IT team directly supporting our customers.
- Formal Learning
You will be supported in completinga Certificate III in Information Technology or Business through weekly instructor-ledsessions with our training provider and given opportunities to put into practice what you are learning.
- Mentor Support
You will have access to mentor support througha specialist Indigenous mentorship provider. You will havemonthly catch ups tocheck in andsee how you are going with the role and yourlearning journey.
THE WORK EXPERIENCE
Service Desk Technician
As a Service Desk Technician youll be the first point of contact for users needing technical support helping resolve common IT issues like password resets system access and basic troubleshooting. Youll provide professional customer-focused service over phone email or chat logging and escalating tickets as needed while following structured processes. Its a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems working with people and wants to build real-world experience in IT.
