Job Summary
Job Summary for Sr IT Support Specialist (Hybrid Waltham MA)
- Provide end-user IT support including service desk and incident resolution
- Manage and resolve Jira tickets and maintain asset records within Jira
- Oversee laptop tracking inventory management and cleanup activities
- Deliver AV (Audio/Visual) support for in-office staff particularly in Waltham
- Assist during key company events (e.g. town halls) with IT and AV support
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows 11 end-user devices and laptops
- Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and services
- Manage users and groups in Active Directory
- Apply networking fundamentals to resolve connectivity issues
- Utilize Unified Communications tools for collaboration and support
- Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and use related tools
- Ensure accurate inventory management using CMDB or similar systems
- Communicate effectively with users and team members both written and verbally
- Demonstrate a customer-focused dependable and proactive approach
- Work on-site at least 3 days per week in Waltham MA
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years in IT Support or Service Desk roles
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills for end-user devices
- Experience with ITSM inventory and ticketing systems (e.g. Jira)
- No visa restrictions; background check and drug screen not required
