Privacy Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Support the Assistant General Counsel Privacy with the implementation of the North America privacy program to support online retail and internal employee initiatives.
• Become an integral part of the North America data privacy function acting as privacy point of contact for business teams.
• Develop in-depth understanding of Ballys group businesses to provide adequate and strategic recommendations and consultation on business privacy requests.
• Provide day to day privacy guidance to the North America business teams balancing the intersection of data privacy compliance and business operational needs.
• Support the businesss privacy compliance efforts across US state and Canadian data protection laws and regulations.
• Perform operational activities to support the management of an effective privacy program (e.g. creating reports and documentation using privacy software management tools designing privacy compliance processes).
• Review and revise data protection agreements to promote compliance with data protection laws and mitigate business risk.
• Support and contribute to the completion of data protection impact assessments and data mapping initiatives.
• Support and advise on the fulfilment of data subject rights in alignment with company policies.
• Liaise with the Global Privacy Office to support alignment of North America data privacy program with Ballys global privacy initiatives.

Competencies:

• Excellent presentation and communication skills and demonstrated executive presence.
• Excellent analytical organizational and information seeking skills and detail oriented.
• Excellent understanding of internal data protection laws including the CCPA and other US state privacy laws. Knowledge of Canada privacy regulatory framework including PIPEDA and PIPA desired.
• Must be detailed oriented and passionate about privacy.
• Good understanding of online technologies and their privacy implications
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English language.
• Ability to act independently and exercise good judgment

Target Salary:

• $90000- $100000 Annual Salary
