Supervises: Senior Support Technician and High School Support Technicians
Primary Purpose:
The Inventory Support Specialist oversees advanced hardware software and on-site technical support operations for the districts two comprehensive high schools. The Inventory Support Specialist assists with oversight of campus technology inventory leads maintaining district-wide technology inventory and participating in cross-campus technology projects. This role is responsible for supervising technical staff coordinating campus and departmental technology needs and leading strategic initiatives and projects that strengthen the organizations overall technology infrastructure service delivery and long-term capabilities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited HS or GED Program (required)
Degrees and certifications preferred not required. Relevant certifications (preferred e.g. CompTIA A Network TASBO or equivalent)
College degree (preferred)
Experience:
Four years experience in Information Technology in ECISD Technology
Two years experience in mobile device management support (I.e. Jamf Radix Intune etc.)
Two years experience in Asset Management Inventory software (I.e. TipWeb Munis etc.)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
Familiarity with remote management tools and Active Directory
Ability to lead and mentor Support Technicians and Campus Technology Leads
Coordinating district-wide technology inventory processes and supporting campus technology inventory leads to ensure consistent asset management practices
Provide campus communications with technology damages reports and inventory audits
Lead and coordinate varies technology inventory audits
Tag label and maintain accurate records of technology assets in accordance with district inventory standards including receiving deploying transferring and retiring equipment
Maintain and update technology inventory records using district systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with district and audit requirements
Support the use of PayPams Munis and TipWeb related to technology transactions including device damage tracking deposits and reconciliation support
Generate and distribute monthly campus technology damage reports ensuring campus administrators have timely and accurate information regarding student device damages and related charges
Assist campus administrative assistants and bookkeepers with account code identification and guidance for depositing funds related to damaged or lost technology assets
Support student device damage processes including intake documentation follow-up and coordination with campuses and families as needed
Provide procedural guidance and training on manufacturer warranty claim processes including troubleshooting documentation requirements claim submission shipping coordination and tracking of repairs or replacements
Provide technical assistance related to student and staff devices including hardware diagnostics repairs and troubleshooting as part of a hands-on technical support role
Participate in district technology projects and initiatives including device refreshes inventory audits campus deployments and special projects as assigned
Communicate effectively with campus staff inventory leads and district departments to resolve inventory damage and warranty-related issues in a timely manner
Follow district policies procedures and best practices related to technology use data accuracy asset management and customer service
Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient technology operations across the district.

Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team setting
