Global Cost Controller

As a Senior OPEX Controller you will have a businesscritical role at Envalior acting as a strong and interactive finance partner to the business. You combine a passion for understanding what drives performance behind the numbers with sharp analytical skills and a clear focus on optimizing efficiencies.

In this key position you support SG&A cost control activities including CAPEX projects outside of the manufacturing function while operating confidently in a dynamic and rapidly changing global environment. You are comfortable taking up space and presenting insights in senior stakeholder meetings translating complex financial data into clear relevant management information that enables informed decisionmaking.

Main Responsibilities

• Work on optimizing and harmonizing financial processes & reporting and implementing best practices in OPEX Control.
• Act as sparring partner for functional budget holders
• Track / trace cost optimization initiatives including synergies
• Ability to effectively operate in virtual teams across the region and globe with multiple stakeholders (in- and outside of Envalior)
• Owner of the budgeting and forecasting process of OPEX
• Provide explanation analysis and recommendations to management
• Review important business cases and provide support to improvement projects
• Review of capital expenditure proposal(s) and finalize IRR assessments for projects of supporting functions (outside of manufacturing).

• Master Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or CMA CPA MBA
• Senior Finance professional with broad knowledge of and track record in Finance and Control processes in various businesses/operations/ manufacturing environments; minimum relevant working experience 8 years; 10 years also welcome
• Familiar with Lean Sig Sixma methodologies
• You are able to analyze large datasets and translate data into practical advice for management
• You have a service-oriented mindset and are able to communicate effectively and persuasively with a large group of stakeholders in- and outside Finance.
• Experience with cost optimization programs of advantage
