Industrial EI&C Engineer

We are growing our EI&C team to meet the demand for Energy Manufacturing and Water projects across New Zealand and Australia.

Youll be responsible for engineering across a wide range of markets and applications completing concept design costing detailed electrical design construction management and commissioning for industrial facilities in Energy Manufacturing and Water markets.

What Youll Do

• Provide electrical engineering expertise in an industrial environment including development of technical specifications power and control system design.
• Be a part of multiple multidisciplinary projects supporting lead electrical engineers or leading the electrical works across a range of project sizes and markets.
• Work with clients and contractors to understand their existing installations and how best to integrate their new needs.
• Travel to client and project sites across NZ building hands-on experience with industrial plant machinery and automation and control systems.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering (Washington Accord) or similar.
• Proven experience in a similar role with 5 years experience
• Solid technical knowledge of industrial Low Voltage power systems instrumentation and control systems
• Familiarity with hazardous area and AS/NZS 60079 beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to travel to site
