Job Summary
Set the tone for client relationships by enabling fast seamless account and product setup for Asset & Wealth Management clients. Ensure strong AML/KYC controls by delivering complete accurate onboarding and renewals in partnership with client-facing teams.
As a Client Onboarding Associate within the Global Middle Office Operations team (Asset & Wealth Management) you own end-to-end onboarding of new clients to ensure accounts products and services are available quickly and seamlessly. You collect vet and submit client information to meet AML/KYC and account opening requirements accurately and within established SLAs including periodic renewals. You support client-facing teams by gathering documentation capturing client preferences for product configuration and making independent AML risk recommendations prior to final review.
Job Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end onboarding and periodic renewal of clients ensuring adherence to KYC regulatory standards and account opening requirements.
- Collect and vet client information and documentation to confirm completeness eligibility and alignment with product and account opening procedures.
- Partner with client-facing teams to obtain required KYC information and ensure client records meet regulatory standards.
- Submit KYC records accurately and timely in line with established SLAs tracking progress and driving completion to closure.
- Configure products and accounts by working with front office banking and operations teams to capture client preferences and set up services.
- Draft and gather client documents and provide independent recommendations regarding AML risk at a client level before final review.
- Monitor regulatory and procedural changes related to KYC AML suitability documentation and product/account opening requirements applying updates to onboarding execution.
Required qualifications skills and capabilities
- Strong understanding of client onboarding processes including AML KYC and account opening requirements
- Ability to collect validate and maintain accurate client documentation and KYC records to regulatory standards
- Strong stakeholder management skills to partner with client-facing teams front office and operations to deliver seamless setup
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver timely accurate submissions within SLA and renewal deadlines
- 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred qualifications skills and capabilities
- Experience supporting Asset & Wealth Management clients and familiarity with AWM product and account structures
