Role Overview
The Material Control specialist plans material requirements (MRP) keeps the line supplied without overstock and supports interpretation between Thai and Chinese teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build the MRP plan against the production schedule to ensure timely material availability.
Track material delivery progress; coordinate with purchasing warehouse and production to avoid shortages and aged stock.
Control inventory levels and stock turn to minimise excess and waste.
Manage withdrawals against work orders top-ups and returns aligned with system data.
Resolve production-line issues (shortages damage loss) and drive improvement.
Run periodic stock counts; analyse variances to improve accuracy.
Maintain accurate up-to-date material data in the ERP.
Support translation/interpretation within the department.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree.
13 years in material planning production control or purchasing.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Strong sense of responsibility good interpersonal skills fast learner.
Strong Chinese (listen/speak/read/write) used as a working language.
