Automation Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for an Automation Manager to lead the design and implementation of warehouse and logistics automation solutions.

This role focuses heavily on warehouse automation technologies including conveyors sortation systems dimension weighing machines and intelligent logistics workflows.

The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in automation technologies and support modernization initiatives across warehouse and last-mile operations.

Automation Strategy & Implementation

• Design and implement:
• Warehouse Automation Systems
• Sortation Systems
• Conveyor Systems
• Dimension Weighing Systems
• Automated Handling Equipment
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies:
• Robotics
• Automated Sorting
• Smart Warehousing
• Electric Vehicle (EV) logistics integration

Warehouse & Process Engineering

• Develop warehouse layout designs.
• Improve material flow efficiency.
• Optimize:
• Picking Processes
• Sorting Processes
• Storage Systems
• Define equipment sizing and specifications.

Project & R&D Management

• Lead automation project lifecycle:
• Feasibility Study
• Design
• Testing
• Deployment
• Conduct research into new automation trends.
• Collaborate with vendors and integrators.

Operational Optimization

• Identify automation opportunities to:
• Reduce manual work
• Improve throughput
• Enhance accuracy
• Support scaling operations across multiple warehouses.

Requirements

Education

Bachelors Degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechatronics

Experience

• 8 10 years in:
• Automation
• Manufacturing
• Warehouse Engineering
• Logistics Engineering
• Experience with:
• Conveyors
• Sortation Systems
• Warehouse Automation
• Industrial Equipment

(Logistics experience preferred but automation experience is acceptable.)
