Job Summary
Bradley David Associates is recruiting on behalf of a leading shipping and freight forwarding company specialising in direct services to Scandinavia and mainland Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Manage export operations and administration for export groupage and part-load shipments from the UK and Ireland
- Plan and coordinate Irish export groupage and part-load movements transiting through the UK to Scandinavia
- Liaise with transport planners warehouse teams and shipping lines to ensure efficient shipment movement
- Work closely with colleagues across Scandinavia to coordinate export activities
- Handle all aspects of groupage and part-load export operations including participation in an on-call rota
- Complete export customs clearances using Descartes and Destin8 systems
Requirements
- Previous experience within logistics freight forwarding or groupage planning (3 years preferred)
- Confident approachable and professional communication skills
- Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Experience with export customs processes and documentation is advantageous
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs brokerage operations. Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations import processes and trade compliance. Previous experience supervising or mentoring entry writers is highly preferred. Active U.S. Customs Broker License strongly preferred. Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
