Role description:

The Project Accounting (PA) Manager is responsible to oversee the full project accounting support to assigned region and oversee whole team operations. Implement People and Culture theme in GSSC ensuring to attract retain develop people to enhance the team culture and position the business for continued sustainable grow. The PA Manager also support business strategy plans and values contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture.

Role accountabilities:

Client Success:

• Build strong relationship with business leaders/process owners and communicate with them effectively to introduce process improvement and change projects in the organization.
• Provides quality customer service including interacting with customers answering customer enquiries and effectively handling customer complaints.
• Responsible for providing support to operational requirements such as process escalations internal and external audit; and manage stakeholders concerns.
• Ensures adequate internal controls are in place for all areas of operations in accordance with the Segregation of Duties.
• Evaluates and streamline project accounting processes and continuous improvements (including best practices) for operational efficiency.
• Communicate comprehensive team performance and strategize action plans to improve result.
• Reinforce and strengthen GSSC Business Continuity Plan.

• Plan and define SMART team goals and help them achieving those.
• Assist in creating developmental plans (PDR/GPS) and provide support for progressive learning and development of the team.

Sustainability:

• Manages all direct line reports in accordance with company procedures and standards.
• Assists management with hiring processes and training the new team member.
• Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
• Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members.
• Communicates fully to the Project Accounting and Billing Manager/ Project to Cash Manager on all situations that may affect the teams ability to meet standards or deadlines.

Qualifications & experience:

• Bachelors/College Degree Major in Accountancy CPA/MBA is preferred.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in a similar industry.
• Experienced in a Shared Service or multinational environment.
• Experience with ERP Systems is required; (Oracle SAP & Microsoft Dynamics)
• Advanced experience in Microsoft applications (Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Word) is required.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Language including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive and a committed team player.
• Proven strategic planning experience at management level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
• Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
