Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations / Operations Manager with a strong background in rooms division to join our team in Novotel Madinah Saudi Arabia. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations with a particular focus on rooms management to ensure exceptional guest experiences and optimal financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize operational efficiency and profitability across all departments with a focus on rooms division
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers and staff fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee financial management including budgeting forecasting and cost control measures
- Drive revenue management strategies to optimize room rates and occupancy
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards local regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other department heads to enhance overall guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Implement and maintain quality control systems to uphold service standards
- Analyze performance metrics and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge in the market
- Represent the hotel in community events and industry forums to enhance its reputation and build strategic partnerships
Qualifications :
- Proven track record in hotel operations management with extensive experience in rooms division
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong financial acumen including experience in budgeting forecasting and revenue management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations particularly in rooms division
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
- Understanding of Saudi Arabian hospitality market and cultural norms
- Must be a Saudi National
