Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day logistics and transportation operations.
- Coordinate truck and trailer fleet activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor fleet performance vehicle utilization fuel consumption and operational efficiency.
- Plan and organize transportation schedules to maximize productivity.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced according to maintenance schedules.
- Work closely with drivers to provide operational support and address any challenges that arise.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and service execution.
- Track operational performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes reduce costs and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and transportation regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of experience in truck and trailer fleet management or logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of transportation operations fleet planning and driver management.
- Experience managing vehicle maintenance schedules and monitoring fleet performance.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics-related systems is an advantage.
- Must currently be based in Dammam Khobar or nearby areas with a valid transferable Iqama.
Nationality Preference
- Indian candidates are preferred.
