Research & Data Specialist $400$650 USD/month Fully Remote
Location: Fully remote you can be based anywhere in the world
Hours: Flexible async-friendly with some overlap with UK GMT for briefings
Salary: $400$650 USD/month
Contract: Full-time permanent
About the company
Remote World is partnering with a UK-based business intelligence consultancy to hire for this role. They produce research reports and competitive intelligence for clients in technology healthcare and private equity the quality of their work lives or dies on the quality of the underlying research.
The role
Youll gather organise and summarise business and market data from web sources databases and reports building out company profiles market maps and structured datasets that feed into client deliverables. Research verify structure repeat.
What youll do
- Research companies markets and individuals from specified source lists
- Build and populate structured datasets in Excel or Google Sheets
- Verify information from multiple sources and flag inconsistencies
- Write concise accurate summaries of research findings
- Manage research queues and maintain progress logs
What youll need
- Strong research instincts you find accurate information efficiently
- Excellent written English for clear concise summaries
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently against deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience in market research desk research or business intelligence
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Companies House Crunchbase or similar sources
- Background in business finance or a related analytical field
