The Role

The Senior Presales Architect is the highest-impact technical role in Presidios India GDC presales team and the strategic backbone of its US regional sales architecture capability. You are the technical authority for large complex multi-tower US enterprise opportunities from $1M to $10M driving end-to-end presales ownership across Networking SD-WAN Security (SASE/Zero Trust) and Data Center/Cloud domains within your assigned US region.

Beyond individual deal leadership you define architecture quality standards for the India GDC mentor a team of Architects and Associate Architects and serve as the bridge between Presidios US Sales leadership and Indias technical delivery capability.

With 812 years of deep multi-domain expertise proven US customer-facing credibility and a track record of winning complex RFPs you operate at the intersection of technical excellence executive influence and global partnership making the India GDC a genuine competitive advantage for Presidios US business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Own the full presales lifecycle for large strategic US enterprise opportunities ($1M$10M) within your assigned region from qualification architecture design and BoM governance through proposal delivery and technical close.
• Lead CTO CIO and IT Director-level customer engagements: whiteboard sessions technology roadmap workshops infrastructure assessments and executive architecture briefings translating complex business challenges into differentiated Presidio solutions.
• Architect full-stack multi-OEM solutions spanning Networking (Cisco Juniper Aruba Arista SD-WAN) Security (Palo Alto SASE Fortinet Fabric Zero Trust) Data Center (Nutanix Pure VMware) and Hybrid Cloud (AWS Azure) integrated and commercially viable.
• Define and govern RFP/RFI response strategy for major bids: lead India SA team contributions set quality standards review all architecture sections and ensure technical accuracy and competitive differentiation.
• Drive PoC design and executive proof-of-value engagements define scope success criteria and architecture; coordinate OEM lab resources and US customer logistics.
• Act as Presidio Indias senior technical representative in US regional Sales QBRs OEM partner reviews and strategic deal strategy sessions.
• Define India GDC presales quality standards: solution design templates multi-OEM BoM governance frameworks RFP playbooks and competitive positioning guides for all 4 junior/mid Architects.
• Mentor coach and develop the India Architect team (JD1JD4): run architecture review boards lead knowledge transfer sessions and conduct monthly technical capability assessments.
• Build and manage OEM relationships at SE Manager / Partner Manager level: Cisco Gold Palo Alto Diamond Dell Titanium Nutanix Pure Storage unlock co-investment PoC lab access and GTM alignment.
• Identify and develop new practice areas and competencies for the India GDC including AI infrastructure GenAI-ready networking cloud-native security and managed service overlays.
• Contribute to Presidios thought leadership: author solution briefs competitive analyses and technology perspectives; represent Presidio India at OEM partner events and industry forums.

This is a Deal Acceleration Engine not a back-office support role.

You are the India GDCs regional technical authority the senior architect who defines the standard for how Presidio India delivers presales excellence.

Lead the follow-the-sun model for your region: architect strategic solutions and produce executive deliverables during Indian hours that US Sales VPs present to customers the next morning.

Engage US enterprise customers in real time during overlap leading whiteboard sessions executive briefings and PoC design calls directly with CTO/CIO-level stakeholders.

Act as technical escalation lead for all four India Architects: approve complex BoMs validate multi-tower architectures and coach deal strategy for the team.

Define the India GDC handoff governance standard ensuring quality accuracy and zero information loss across time zones for every deal in the regional pipeline.

Your 3-headcount Senior Architect team (across Mid-Central Northeast South) delivers 16-hour regional coverage for three of Presidios most productive US markets.

Required Technical Skills and Professional Experience:

KEY DIFFERENTIATORS:

• Proven track record of driving and winning $1M$5M US enterprise complex opportunities as the technical lead from RFP qualification to solution defence. Verifiable via reference.
• Named OEM partner relationship at SE Manager / Partner Manager level: Cisco Gold/Premier Palo Alto Diamond/Platinum Dell Titanium or Nutanix Elite with co-investment and PoC lab access history.
• Experience building or scaling a presales CoE asset library or India GDC presales capability: structured templates architecture review boards or certification programs from the ground up.
• Published thought leadership or speaker experience: white papers solution briefs Cisco Live Palo Alto Ignite VMware Explore or industry analyst engagement signals market-facing credibility.
• Managed services / XaaS overlay architecture experience able to design and position Presidios managed services wrap alongside traditional product resell to increase deal ACV.
