We are looking for a motivated Property Search Officer to join the Place Prosperity and Sustainability (PPS) Highways Searches Team.
As a key member of the Highway Searches Team you will play an essential role in helping the service run smoothly and efficiently.
- Collect record and maintain Highway and Transport data.
- Respond to Local Land Charges and CON29 Highways searches
- Manage the Highways Searches mailboxes
- This is a fulltime hybrid role working 36.5 hours per week with a mix of working from home and office at the Council House Birmingham.
Were looking for someone who:
- Has a working knowledge of highways matters experience of Geographical Information System within a highways environment
- Can deliver a customer focussed service within agreed timescales
- Hasthe ability to interpret maps plans and related reports effectively and accurately.
- Can investigate analyse and report on datatomeet deadlines and performance targets.
- Can stay calm organised and solutionfocused under pressure
- Communicates clearly and confidently (verbal and written)
- Has strong IT skills and a proactive approach to learning including developing new digital skills to drive continuous improvement
- Works well with others and contributes to a supportive team culture
