Each year more than 21000 patients move into out of or within CentraCare facilities. Many of those patients are critically ill with time sensitive diagnoses or complex Transfer Center gives clinicians a comprehensive resource for managing their patients movement and makes certain each patient receives the best possible care throughout the process.

Transfer Center RNs ensure safe and efficient transfers into within and out of the CentraCare system. To accomplish this our nurses manage all inbound and outbound communication for the Transfer Center working with all persons needed to evaluate appropriate placement including providers and nursing success of a transfer relies on the good judgement critical thinking and communication skills of our team members. With the help of technology and streamlined processes our nurses can continue to apply the skills they learned at the bedside while transforming them into an opportunity to touch even more lives.

Schedule

• Part-time 36 hours every two weeks On-site St. Cloud Hospital
• 12-hr shifts 7am to 7:30pm and 11am-11:30pm

• Every third weekend Rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits

• Pay based on experience and degree
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
  • Bachelors in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
  • Masters in nursing starting at $43.43 per hour
  • Pay range: $41.43- $62.01 per hour

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing bachelors degree preferred
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota required
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in acute care required
• Previous experience in a variety of nursing specialties preferred
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required can be obtained upon hire.
• Exceptional organizational communication and customer service skills
• Experience with Epic and Microsoft Office preferred
• Previous experience using a PC based phone system preferred
