Embryo Transfer Specialist

• Perform embryo transfer procedures using both fresh and cryopreserved IVF embryos in cow and heifer recipients.
• Conduct reproductive evaluations through rectal palpation and/or ultrasound to determine recipient viability prior to transfer.
• Maintain embryo transfer equipment including embryo transfer guns portable incubators thaw baths and other related equipment.
• Accurately record embryo transfer activities recipient information and reproductive performance data.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve current and forecasted reproductive goals and customer service expectations.
• Monitor transfer schedules and anticipated ET volumes to ensure successful delivery of services and customer support.
• Follow all safety and biosecurity protocols related to livestock handling liquid nitrogen sharps and reproductive procedures.
• Uphold company and customer standards for animal well-being and biosecurity.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues to promote a positive service experience.
• Support training initiatives for new team members as needed including standard operating procedures animal welfare practices and performance expectations.
• Travel as needed to support reproductive service operations within the region and other U.S. locations.
• Uphold the Genus core values mission and vision.
• Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Animal Science Veterinary Science or a related field preferred but exceptional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Bovine reproductive experience (artificial insemination pregnancy diagnosis etc.) preferred.
• Previous experience with embryo transfer is preferred but not required.
